Schmidt Custom Floors was pleased to accept the 2010 National Wood Flooring Association Commercial Floor of the Year Award. With 22,000 pieces of end grain wood, showcasing 5 different species of wood, we were able to showcase the flight of H.F. Johnson Jr. from Racine, WI to Brazil. This masterpiece was inlaid in terrazzo and Tim, our president, said it was like putting together a big jigsaw puzzle! Project Honor can be seen in the SC Johnson's Headquarters in Racine, WI. Commercial Projects
Our commercial division works with general contractors for condo projects, apartment buildings, restaurants, malls, senior living and dance studios. Our Sports Division specializes in commercial or residential gym wood floors as well as synthetic flooring for all applications, such as weight rooms, exercise rooms, field house, etc. Our synthetic options will take care of the whole project.
